Nancy did her undergraduate studies at UNC in Greeley and began her medical career at the hospital there. With a friend of hers, and support from the Cardiologists and Cardiovascular Surgeon, she helped develop the cardiac rehab program for the hospital. She found taking care of those patients invigorating but also very scary. She wanted more education and decided to pursue education to be a Physician Assistant.
She graduated from the Baylor College of Medicine Physician Assistant Program with honors and received the Dr. Henry D. McIntosh Award, given annually to the graduating student who best exemplifies the concept of the Physician Assistant. She has worked previously in acute medicine and cardiology, and is now enjoying working in Family Medicine.
Nancy feels it is an honor to be involved in the lives of her patients. She looks forward to delivering quality care while allowing her patients to be a shared partner in their health care.
